Painting The Illuminated ones...The Abundant ones !

As an Awakened Bellydance facilitator© I often use this process to continue my journey of self discovery in various ways. Recently I have been doing some deeper personal work on abundance in this way. This is a vision that I saw a couple of days ago when I was dancing. So I've spent an evening putting this beautiful background down with all the leaves and the colours of what I see around me, but predominately what I saw in the vision. It's about reconnecting with my abundance, with the abundant ones in our ancestral line, our bloodline, our past lives and connecting with the Illuminated Ones, The Abundant Ones. There was already one beautiful figure appearing and she's got herself self connected right down to mother Earth, to Gaia. This a reverse painting so rather than painting the details on the figures, this one was calling me to block out the background so the figures start coming through. That's quite relevant, as we can all let the noise of the background overtake our own state of mind, our own dreams and wishes our thoughts. Its about how we can reconnect with those higher versions of self , ones that have come before us, past lives our ancestors. How much of what we carry - this noise - is from others and what's going on around us in the collective. How much are we processing for others? How much are we carrying in our epigenetics? How we can reconnect to our truest self through movement, Awakened Bellydance in particular, Inner Dance. Through art, through the visions that we see, the ideas that we have.

So as always I'm calling on you to take a moment to yourself to reflect, to look at your life, where are you feeling stuck. Where your not fully and truly connecting to your abundance, or all the things that bring you joy. With this piece I was being called to stop trying to find all the details like I usually do and just get the block of white down. So, the main figure obviously spoke to me first but I could see figures but not see figures coming along here but usually I would see their outlines but this time I was just being guided to get the paint on the paper and allow those figures to come out without overthinking it.
