Creating from the Heart

Today I have be

en creating and I wanted to share the heart behind these new creations with you.

I have made a whole new circle of 8 Pocket Goddess Dolls, in the beautiful, earthy colours of Autumn. As I sat with them all together, I found myself thinking about the turning of the Wheel of the Seasons, and how important it is for us to stay connected to these natural rhythms, especially in the world we live in today.

We are so often caught up in the busyness of life, always doing, always giving, always moving on to the next thing, that sometimes we forget we are part of nature too.

Autumn comes along and gently reminds us that everything has its season.

The trees begin to let go of their leaves, the light changes, the days grow shorter, and there is a natural invitation to slow down, turn inward, and perhaps begin to let go of the things we no longer need to carry.

I find this such a beautiful reminder for us as women, because how often do we keep going, keep holding everything together, and forget that we are allowed to rest too?

We are not meant to be blooming all year round.

There are times for growing, times for blossoming, and times when we need to draw our energy back inwards, nourish ourselves, and listen to what is happening within.

And this is some of the energy I have been holding as I created these little goddesses.

I love the thought of them finding their way into someone's hands, perhaps sitting on a little altar, beside a candle, or tucked into a pocket as a gentle reminder to pause for a moment and reconnect with yourself.

Sometimes having something tangible to hold can bring us back to ourselves, reminding us of an intention we have set, something we are working through, or simply the need to take a breath and be present.

They are little reminders of the sacredness in the everyday, and of the wisdom we can find when we take the time to listen.

As I placed all of these goddesses together, I felt the beauty of them forming a circle.

There is something so special about a circle, isn't there?

For me, it represents connection, belonging, and the understanding that although we are all walking our own paths, there is so much that we share.

When we come together in circle, whether that is with our sisters, our friends, or other women who are walking their own journeys, something beautiful can happen.

We create a space where we can simply be ourselves, where we can share what is on our hearts, listen to one another, and remember that we don't have to navigate every season of our lives alone.

There is something deeply nourishing about being witnessed and heard, without needing to fix anything or have all the answers.

And perhaps this becomes even more important as we move into Autumn, when nature herself begins to draw inward and invites us to do the same.

A time to gather, to reflect on what the year has brought us, to acknowledge what we are ready to release, and to consider what we want to nurture within ourselves as we move into the quieter months.

We can learn so much from the changing seasons when we allow ourselves the time to notice.

And so these eight little Pocket Goddesses have come together as their own little circle, each one created with love, care and intention, carrying the colours and feeling of this beautiful season.

As always, before I share my creations with the world, I like to take a quiet moment to connect with them, to light a candle, sing to them, breathe, and give thanks for the creative process and the love that flows through my hands.

For me, creating has never just been about making something beautiful. It is also about the feeling, the intention, and the connection that lives within each piece.

And I love knowing that once a creation leaves my hands, it begins its own journey, finding the person who feels drawn to it for whatever reason, at whatever moment in their life.

Perhaps one of these little goddesses will find her way to you, becoming a companion through your own Autumn journey, a reminder to slow down, to let go, to gather with others, or simply to honour the season you are in.

I always feel that the right creation will speak to you in its own way.

So here they are, my new little circle of eight Autumn Pocket Goddesses, created with so much love and a little reminder of the magic that you hold within.
